Meriwether Weekend

We spent Friday, Saturday, and Sunday at the family's favorite boy scout camp, Camp Meriwether, participating in Scouters' Work Weekend with Val, Jim (aka Ma and Pop), and 'cool uncle' Bill (aka stick-in-the-mud). Lots of projects were accomplished and we survived the food for the most part, so it was a pretty productive weekend. And except for Bill spitting on John over the railing in our cabin, we stayed relatively clean.
Katherine, aka Pookie, has gone through several growth spurts lately, and I haven't quite caught up yet, meaning my diaphragm/ribs are very bruised. I'm soooo looking forward to this summer...no school and being able to breathe normally!

What on earth makes you call Uncle Bill a "stick-in-the-mud"? He's quite possibly the coolest, most willing to try new things guy I've ever met!

um, if he's "cool" uncle bill, what does that make me? we all know who got all the cool genes, here. i want an adjective!

Kelley does make an excellent point. She *is* the coolest!

I'll second the nomination for the 'cool genes' recipient.

It sure isn't Cool Uncle Bill!
