Holmstroms come BIG

I thought those of you who haven't seen Kat in awhile would like to hear the latest stats: 17 lbs 9 oz and 27" tall. Now remember, she's only 4 months old! Sufficeth to say, she's a healthy eater. Yesterday she added oatmeal to her solid food repertoire (which doubles it, since she's only had rice cereal until now). She is actually well-mannered when she eats with a spoon. As long as I keep her hands away from her mouth, hardly any food gets on her face (w/John, it's a whole other story!)
We're excited, though, because her eyes are just getting a brighter and brighter blue, which we had hoped for :)

So, now the drool, tantrums, andTylenol-dependency is paying off! Katherine cut her first tooth on Tuesday amid a rather uncharacteristic and long screaming fit. It's the bottom right incisor. Now she's as happy as ever, and continues to chew and drool on everything.

Katherine has stared eating with a spoon. Well, being fed by a spoon by very frustrated parents ("no, it goes down your throat, not down your chin. No, the inside of your throat).

She just seems to love it, and we're happy that she's growing up and eating something a little more solid. Friday, she goes from rice cereal to another grain.
